A price from the internet doesn't say much. It depends on the condition of the woodwork, the paint system, and how much work is involved — I can only judge that once I've seen it. That's why I always come by first, free of charge.

What does painting cost?
I discuss that on site. It depends on the condition of the woodwork, the number of square metres and the paint system — this varies a lot per property. I come by free of charge and give you a fixed price afterwards.
What's your service area?

Yes, the border area and Belgium are part of my regular service area. Get in touch to discuss the options and terms for your project.
What VAT rate applies to painting work?
In the Netherlands, homes older than 2 years qualify for the reduced 9% VAT rate on painting, plastering and wallpapering. Different rules apply to projects in Belgium; I'll set that out clearly in the quote.
How soon can you start?
That depends on the schedule. The exterior season fills up fast; interior work can often be done sooner. Call or WhatsApp me and you'll know right away what's possible.
What if wood rot turns out to be present?
That happens regularly. Damaged wood is repaired or replaced first, because painting over wood rot is money down the drain. If I find unexpected wood rot, I discuss it with you before any extra costs are made.
Do you also work for businesses?
Certainly. Besides homes, I also handle maintenance and painting work for commercial properties and homeowner associations (VvE) — English-speaking clients are welcome too.
